Rolls Royce has always been considered the most prestige’s vehicle for well over a century. The Silver Wraith was the first post-war Rolls Royce and every vehicle was built at the Crewe Factory in Cheshire, England from 1946-1959.
1883 cars were produced over the 13 year span and our 1958 Silver Wraith Rolls Royce is one of only 639 made with a long wheel base during that period. In 1954 the engine size increased to 4.8 liters and a general motor’s automatic transmission was offered as an option in 1952.
The Silver Wraith was the last Rolls Royce model delivered in “chassis only” form in order to receive a coachwork designed by a specialty coachbuilder. Most Silver Wraith Rolls Royce vehicles are formal limousine designs.
